A 2023 Banbury Center workshop at Cold Spring Harbor brought together neuropathologists, digital pathologists, and machine learning researchers to ask: what would it take to integrate AI into the study of aging and neurodegeneration at tissue scale?

The group coined “transformative neuropathology” and published a roadmap in Neuron outlining how to get there.
